This renovated cottage has a master suite with huge shower and generous counters, an upstairs mini-suite for kids, a full kitchen and living room with two west-facing bay windows; 2 baths, 3 beds, sleeps 4, Wi‑Fi, AC, washer/dryer, fire pit. Bordering Lake Harbor Park, Mona Lake channel and Hoffmaster State Park; bike trail out front, short drives to Lake Michigan beaches, downtown Muskegon and US‑31; Muskegon County Airport ~10–15 min.

Good to know

This is a fully renovated 2 story cottage that shares a back yard with the front house at Lake Harbor Haven. The first floor bedroom features a King bed and large en-suite bathroom. A laundry room is just outside the bedroom. Upstairs is a comfortable living room with large bay windows. Just off the living room is a small bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom. The kitchen is efficiency size, but still provides a full oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. The coffee maker can make a carafe of coffee or a single cup.

The area is popular for outdoor recreation (walking/fishing along Mona Lake, Lake Michigan beach access and dune trails at Lake Harbor Park) and offers a suburban, family-friendly vibe with nearby dining and grocery options in Muskegon.

Most travel is by car; the neighborhood is car-friendly with local streets and easy access to US-31 for regional travel. There is a new bicycle trail right in fron tof the house that connects Lake Harbor Park and Hoffmaster State Park. Local public transit is provided by the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) with bus routes and paratransit serving Norton Shores and connections into Muskegon. Harbor Transit offers regional connections to nearby tri-city areas and transfers to MATS are available. Rideshare and taxis operate in the region but can be limited outside peak areas. The area is walkable for park and lakeshore access; bicycling is common on local roads and trails.
